Since coming to Omaha in 2004, Dr. Battafarano has worked extensively with individuals suffering with substance use disorders co-occurring with other mental health and biomedical disorders. He has practiced with multidisciplinary teams in community-based, as well as traditional, medically-modeled systems. During his 28 years in medicine, he has been certified by the American Boards of Internal Medicine, Allergy & Immunology, and Psychiatry & Neurology. Dr. Battafarano enjoys working with the diverse patient population we serve and the providers with whom we collaborate.
