P aul Wilken is a Master’s prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has experience providing mental health support throughout the lifespan.

In the years leading up to his licensure as a Nurse Practitioner, he has worked in pediatrics, developmental pediatrics, pediatric gastroenterology, child and adolescent behavioral health, crisis counseling, parenting consultation, adult psychiatry, dialysis, mental health respite, and long-term care. He spends much of his current practice time working with underserved adults with serious and persistent mental illness.

His clinic will occur on Saturdays and will focus on children and adolescents.

Whenever possible, Paul plans to utilize an interdisciplinary approach by providing care in concert with therapists, family physicians, social workers, and school psychologists.

“I believe mental and physical well-being are intimately connected and I therefore make every effort to assess patient challenges by looking at the whole person, the whole environment, and the whole family.”
