I love children, and especially appreciate the opportunity to work with young children and their families. I believe that when children are struggling with an emotional or behavioral issue, it is important for them to have a safe place to discuss their concerns and feel that someone is “on their side.” My office is filled with toys and art projects to help children feel safe and comfortable.

I have specific experience with young children, and specialized training with two to six-year- olds. I
especially enjoy this age because I feel that if they have a positive experience in counseling at a young age, they will feel comfortable seeking it out through their childhood and beyond.

Woodhaven has been a great place to practice because we have therapists specializing in all different areas. This allows us to work together to treat the whole family (e.g., parents, siblings, couples, etc.). I appreciate the opportunity to work closely with my colleagues to help families succeed.
